Stavo Terms and Conditions

What Stavo provides

Stavo is a self-learning and creative software service. It does not replace professional medical advice, hearing care, accredited education, or individual instruction where those services are needed. Features may improve or change as the product develops, but changes will not remove mandatory consumer rights.

Learning platform

Interactive music theory, piano, and guitar lessons, exercises, quizzes, progress, XP, and achievements.

Music workspace

Private score creation, notation and tablature editing, playback, MIDI input, practice loops, organization, and supported exports.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, keep your password private, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. One account is for one person and may not be sold, transferred, or shared as a paid group account.

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If local law requires parental or guardian consent, that consent must be obtained before the account is used.

Trials, memberships, and renewals

The exact price, currency, taxes, trial end date, and any next charge are shown before purchase. Monthly and yearly memberships automatically renew unless canceled; lifetime access is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Cancel before a subscription trial ends to avoid the first charge. Cancel a paid subscription before its next renewal to prevent the next charge.

You can manage or cancel a recurring membership from Profile in Stavo or through the Lemon Squeezy Customer Portal linked in your purchase email. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

Monthly membership

Seven free days, then the USD monthly amount and applicable tax shown by Lemon Squeezy at checkout. It renews monthly until canceled.

Yearly membership

Seven free days, then the USD yearly amount and applicable tax shown by Lemon Squeezy at checkout. It renews yearly until canceled.

Lifetime access

A single payment provides lifetime Stavo Pro access with no subscription or recurring renewal. Access is personal and non-transferable.

Payments through Lemon Squeezy

Lemon Squeezy conducts Stavo's order process as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, applicable sales taxes, payment-related buyer support, subscription billing, and approved refunds. Stavo does not receive or store your complete card details.

A purchase creates a payment relationship with Lemon Squeezy as the authorized reseller. Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms apply to that transaction alongside the product-access terms on this page.

Cancellations, withdrawals, and refunds

Cancellation and refunds are different. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges. Refund eligibility for a completed payment is described in the Stavo Refund Policy and Lemon Squeezy Buyer Terms. Mandatory withdrawal and consumer rights always continue to apply.

Approved refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method.

Your music and content

You keep ownership of original music and other content you create. You give Stavo a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate your private workspace and requested features.

You are responsible for having the rights needed for any music, notation, tablature, text, or other material you enter. Stavo does not provide a public score marketplace or user-to-user score sharing. Private storage does not remove your responsibility to respect copyright and other rights.

Acceptable use

Do not use Stavo unlawfully, interfere with the service, probe or bypass its security, automate abusive requests, distribute malware, access another person's account, resell access, or use the service to infringe another person's rights.

We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to stop abuse, protect users, comply with law, or address a material breach. Where appropriate, we will explain the issue and provide a reasonable opportunity to correct it.

Stavo intellectual property

Stavo, its software, interface, course material, visual design, branding, and original educational content are owned by Stefan Blazhevski or used under license. Your membership grants a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Stavo. It does not transfer ownership of Stavo or its course content.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Stavo reliable and protect saved work, but no online service can promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security events, third-party outages, browser limitations, or circumstances outside reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.

Keep copies or exports of important work where appropriate. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Responsibility and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stavo is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses arising from use of the service. Where liability may lawfully be limited, the total liability connected with paid Stavo access will not exceed the amount paid for Stavo during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited, including fraud, intentional misconduct, or mandatory consumer protections.

Ending access

You may stop using Stavo at any time. Ending a recurring payment is handled through the cancellation process described above. We may end or restrict an account for a serious or repeated breach, legal requirement, security risk, or discontinued service.

When paid access ends, Stavo may preserve existing scores in read-only form where the product supports it. Account and content deletion are handled according to the Privacy Policy and any applicable retention duties.

Governing law and disputes

These product-access terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia. Courts with jurisdiction in Skopje will handle disputes, except where the mandatory law of your home country gives you the right to use another court or legal protection.

Payment disputes and buyer rights relating to a Lemon Squeezy transaction may also be governed by Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms and the law identified there.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Stavo changes. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will receive reasonable notice where required. Continuing to use Stavo after an update takes effect means the updated terms apply, unless law requires another form of consent.
